New Nissan NV400 Vans
Available in a wide range of models, the Nissan NV400s have a renowned attention to detail in strength and quality and are reliable, resourceful and deliver exactly what you require of them. Choices of four load lengths, three load heights, varying payloads, and a choice of FWD or RWD engines plus body conversions providing the possibilities to create your perfect match. The presence of two grades ensures that you can specify a basic workhorse (E) or a high spec van (SE). The E is the 'basic' Range and comes well equipped with power steering, engine immobiliser, steering wheel controls for the RDS Stereo, driver's airbag and remote central locking and ABS with EBD and three point seatbelts on all seats. In addition, the SE squeezes in an ultrasonic rear parking sensor, that emits a series for bleeps to warn of impending car park collisions, as well as electric windows, a CD player and electric, heated door mirrors.
Externally the NV400 make a powerful impression - they are bold, assertive robust and ready for action. Practical options include rear step, tow bar with ball and socket joint, full steel bulkhead with glazed panel and 270 degree opening rear doors. The practical interior gives you all you need to get through the most demanding days with excellent visibility, effective insulation from noise and lots of convenient and well organised storage including a double overhead parcel shelf, lower door pockets, assistant dashboard compartments, large glove box and coin, phone and credit card holders. The ergonomic design gives logical and easily reached controls.
NV400 offers maximum load space with all models with ten cargo volumes from 8m3 to 17m3 for the Panel vans and up to 22m3 with the Box conversion. Cargo lengths are up to 4.4m with enough cargo room for up to 5 Euro pallets. Payloads of up to 2254 kg can be handled and large opening doors and low floors make loading easy.
Power and efficiency are offered with the NV400's 2.3 litre dCi turbodiesel - available with 100hp, 125hp or 150hp power outputs - and a maximum torque of up to 350Nm for the 150hp engine is produced at just 1250rmp giving easy acceleration and towing.
Oil service changes interval of up to 25,000 miles or every two years contributes to Nissan's NV400 low running costs and for the best economy, the six speed manual gearbox has a dash board indicator light showing when to change gear.
The FWD drive models have low chassis heights offering easy loading and freeing up more space for improved payload, low kerb weight which improves the fuel economy and provides greater efficiency. The RWD is the more traditional choice allowing even payload distribution ensuring safe handling - this model is best suited for medium duty applications and is ideal for towing.
The cab has a strong and rigid cab with a steel bulkhead and effective passive safety features of a drivers airbag (optional passenger and side air bags).  Comprehensive safety features include ABS, EBD Electronic Brake Distribution and Brake Assist with load adaptive ESP and ASR traction control as standard on all SE grade models.
Nissan's innovative approach to helpful technology is simple to operate giving safer and enjoyable driving, and includes useful optional features such as cruise control, speed limiter, rear view cameras, rear parking sensors and Nissan Connect by 'TomTom' with remote control.
NV400 minibuses are available in FWD, two wheelbases and two roof heights. They seat up to nine people including the driver and offer good access with two sliding doors on both sides and a 1.24m3 luggage area behind the third row of seats and for more storage space when carry fewer passengers, the back seating row can be folded down.
The Nissan Chassis Cabs are available with FWD and RWD, a choice of engine (125/150hp), three wheelbase options and come as single or double cabs making the transport of crew and cargo easy. The cab over engine design maximises loadspace and with its low kerb weight, it can carry even more offering payloads of up 1495 kg. Each model is equipped with a refined Common Rail diesel engine, with either 5 or 6 speed gear box, which can cope with the most demanding payload. The single cab is tiltable which means that more of the vehicle length can be dedicated to load-carrying without extending the overall length and disrupting the compact nature of the design.
The Nissan Dropside is available with a choice of engine - 125hp or 150hp, L2, L3 or L4 wheelbase, maximum payloads of 1462 kg and seating capacity. The sturdy cab ensures your safety and comfort from the moment you climb in, to the moment you climb out. With a choice of a single or double cab, Dropsides can accommodate everyone. The FWD offer single rear wheels whilst the RWD comes with twin rear wheels.
Nissan Tippers have the body, floor and head board constructed in steel and finish painted graphite grey and have heavy duty zinc plated corner pillars with recessed locking fasteners and a heavy duty styled ladder rack with galvanised mesh infill. There is a tipper raised warning bleeper, chromed under-floor heavy duty tipping ram and handheld controls on wander lead with harness and magnetic base.
