The Ford Transit Custom comes with more choice in regard to payloads and specifications than ever before. You can now choose between SWB (L1) and LWB (L2), and a low roof (H1 – 1406mm) or high roof (H2 – 1788mm). The SWB comes with a maximum load length of 1577mm, and the LWB of 1944mm, while the new payloads range from 769kg to 1355kg.

The new Ford Transit Custom also comes with a huge new windscreen that integrates Ford’s new Quickclear technology, which allows you to quickly remove any frost from your windscreen with ease, saving you valuable time on those cold, frosty mornings!

Ideal for carrying around heavy tools and bulky raw materials, the new Transit exterior specifications come in four different trim levels: Leader, Trend, Limited and Sport, so you can be sure that there’s a Ford Transit Custom available to suit you.

Ideal interior

Ford have put a lot of thought into upgrading the interior of the Transit Custom, and that’s a big part of the reason why it’s become so popular over the years. The van strikes the perfect balance between comfortable and practical, and has frequently been described as far more ‘car-like’ to drive than previous models.

Available with double passenger seats and lots of leg room, the Ford Transit Custom is a picture of luxury. Throw in the heated seats, electric windows and Ford’s innovative SYNC3 infotainment system (a clever touch screen interface which lets you control things like the air conditioning and the audio input), and you’ve got yourself a seriously sophisticated work van.

The new Transit custom also comes with the option of either a manual or an automatic gearbox, as well as three engine power outputs: 105ps, 130ps and 170ps. It’s also safe to say the new Ford Transit Custom van packs some serious power. With its Euro 6 2.0-litre EcoBlue engine, coupled with a six-speed gearbox, driving up steep hills has never been easier.
